We had our first outting on Monday to the doctors. Of course I was scooping out the other babies and Kailey was the cutest baby in the waiting room.
The nurse weighed her at 7lbs, 3 oz and her head measured in at 35.5cm.
All my silly questions were answered like when can we start using baby lotion? Why does she snort so much? Can she be in the swing too long? Why hasnt she pooped in over 24 hours?
She is very healthy and the doctor needs to see her again in a week to see if she is up to her birth weight. Then we go when she is a month old. She wasn't too happy to be there so hopefully we stay as healthy as we are and avoid the doctors office!

OK this staying healty thing is a challenge. You won't believe the ignorant people out there with colds, that won't tell you they are sick. They touch your baby, with out asking, they cough near your baby! Gah! And don't get me started on the germy coughing snotty nosed kids, that are right at stroller level, so they turn and cough on your kid!
I have straight out said, "eww, learn to cover your mouth" or "please don't touch the baby" gag.
My mom said she about died when I went to preschool, she's like "The GERMS!! they were everywhere!!"
I carry my anti bacterial stuff everywhere, wipe down everything she will touch and her hands.
Maybe obsessive, but my baby is healthy (knock on wood!)
